Objectives:
The goal of this program is to help occupational therapy practitioners understand how providing care affects the family caregiver and, in particular, the employed family caregiver. After you study this information, you will be able to —
- Describe some of the issues and trends surrounding family caregiving.
- Discuss the effects of family caregiving when one is also employed.
- Relate the implications of family caregiving to occupational therapy.
