We are currently seeking a full-time LEAD OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST.
OVERVIEW: |
The Lead Occupational Therapist (OT) provides leadership and direction to therapists under his/her supervision. Together with the Director of Rehab Services, the lead OT provides orientation, training, and competency assessment for their staff. They serve as a representative for occupational therapy in administrative duties, in process improvement, and for customer service issues. The Lead Occupational Therapist communicates with the Director of Rehabilitation Services regarding staffing, equipment, supplies, and other concerns for their area. They identify areas to develop and enhance services. They ensure that the staff adheres to policies and procedures. They perform patient evaluations, provide occupational therapy interventions and supervision of patient care in their area in accordance with established guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a minimum of two years experience in occupational therapy. A strong interest in and ability to carry-out supervisory and management assignments preferred. Previous experience and training in management and supervision also preferred. Graduate of an occupational therapy program and must have a MS or BS degree in occupational therapy. Current occupational therapy licensure in the State of Georgia. Current CPR Certification.
