Job Duties:

Primary functions are to provide applicable occupational therapy care for patients with various diagnoses. Major duties include: patient evaluation, patient treatment, documentation requirements, maintains expected productivity levels (including special assignments). The primary function is patient care, unless otherwise specified. May be required to rotate between clinical areas. CCS Paneling required when working with any patient 0-21. Assistance with coverage between the two UCLA inpatient campuses (Westwood and Santa Monica Hospitals) may also be required. May be involved with program development, professional development, performance improvement, and customer service areas.
 
Job Qualifications:

*Must be able to work at least two shifts (8 hour) per week. Preferred days Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday.
 

EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Licensure /certification as a OTR/L, or eligibility to work as such. Current CPR Card. Minimum 2 years outpatient pediatric experience with developmental disabilities and feeding and adult neuro experience. CCS Paneling if working with patients 0-21 years.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to safely perform repetitive bending, stooping, sitting, squatting, walking, standing during 8-10 hr. day. Normal duties involve lifting (up to 60 pounds), transferring patients, and pushing wheelchairs up to 500 feet. Sufficient dexterity and strength to perform standard duties including patient care, treatments, documentation, computer and equipment use.
