| Description Assists the Occupational Therapist with the administration of interventions utilized in occupational therapy and rehabilitation. May progress patients/residents in the treatment plan as developed by the Occupational Therapist. May provide direct clinical supervision for Rehabilitation Technicians; Massage Therapists; Athletic Trainers and Fitness Specialists. Qualifications
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION BLS
PREFERRED CERTIFICATION Lymphedema REQUIRED EDUCATION Associates degree — Occupational Therapy PREFERRED EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree — Occupational Therapy PREFERRED EXPERIENCE One year — Occupational Therapy REQUIRED LICENSURE Occupational Therapy Assistant SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED Computer skill appropriate to the position Customer service skills Organizational skills Written and verbal communication skills Able to work independently with minimal supervision Teamwork
