Newton Wellesley Hospital, a member of the Partners Healthcare system, is a 250-bed community teaching hospital located 9 miles west of Boston. Our Rehabilitation Team provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services to adults and children with orthopedic, neurological, and developmental diagnoses. We offer specialized therapy programs in conjunction with our new Center for Joint Reconstruction Surgery, our Bariatric Center of Excellence, and MS Clinic. Newton Wellesley Hospital is also designated as a Primary Stroke Center by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
Part-Time Occupational Therapist - Orthopedic and/or Neurological
We are seeking a part-time occupational therapist to provide direct patient care to inpatients and outpatients with orthopedic and/or neurological diagnoses in a supportive, quality-focused hospital environment. Weekday hours are flexible. Availability needed for some weekend and holiday coverage.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. MA OT license and CPR certification required. Experience in an acute setting and experience with neurological diagnoses preferred. 1-2 years of experience preferred, but new graduates may apply.
