OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

You will evaluate patients while considering influencing psycho-social factors, plans treatment programs and performs therapy procedures to restore function, prevent disability and maximize the potential and quality of life following disease, injury, or surgery.  You will be expected to appropriately modify treatment plans and procedures specific to pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients, use appropriate communication techniques for specific age groups and apply knowledge of growth and development and the aging process to achieve optimal results.

To qualify, you must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelors of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in a program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.  Candidate must be licensed by the state of North Carolina. One or more years experience in an acute care facility and experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients is required.
