Researchers in Indianapolis are testing virtual reality video games as a way to bring home-based occupational therapy to rural-dwelling adolescents who have severe hemiplegic cerebral palsy. The new telerehabilitation study showed that teens with cerebral palsy who regularly practiced with a custom video-game system improved their hand function and forearm bone health. read more »
